2018 is almost here! We are so excited! MORE has been serving the persecuted church since 2010. After two years of hard work to start our mobilization office in the US, we are thrilled to say that we are ready to spread the message God has given to MORE and the persecuted church.
The Lord has called us to be a bridge between the stable church and the suffering church. In 2018, we want the American church to understand how much responsability we have to serve persecuted Christians. We are one body with them!
Here are four heart insights to consider for the new year:
Our commitment to serve the Lord starts inward, once we understand our calling and identity in Christ. Don’t let your outside pressures and expectations affect your most precious treasure which is the everlasting Peace that comes from God.
As we seek God we find out that we are not meant to live a comfortable Christianity that supplies our needs and neglects what happens to those around us. We are pushed to look and live outwardly. With words of encouragement, acts of love or daring to stop and listen to those that are suffering.
God is the Source of strength and Hope for Christians everywhere – and that Truth is not any different for persecuted Christians, He is the One who sustains them daily to resist and persevere in their faith amidst almost unbearable suffering.
God is capable of moving our hearts to engage, to pray, to embrace our neighbors and to give generously.
Hope is not built upon our mistakes of the past but upon the assurance of the promised Grace and Salvation. With a new year, look forward. As we hear testimonies of persecuted Christians we’re constantly motivated by their ability to look forward towards the promises of God in spite of their present suffering.
Let this new year be one of awakening our hearts and our lives and so the persecuted church and the stable church can worship our Savior Jesus in suffering and in joy.
To Him be all the glory this new year, and forever! Amen!
